Can we imagine the world without electronics? Without electronics nothing will happen. There is no computer, no communication and no improvement in technology and many more. One of the important electronic devices is Field Effect Transistor (FET). For the purpose of switching and amplifying the transistor Field Effect Transistors (FET) are used. FET is also a semiconductor device. It is a three terminal device named as drain, source and gate. Also, FET acts as voltage controlled device because the voltage applied between the gate and source controls the drain current.
