The suspension system is located between the wheel axles and the vehicle body or frame. Suspension systems are very much useful in the rough roads which give the smooth running of the vehicle. The purpose of the suspension system is to support the weight of the vehicle, maintain traction between the tires and the road and also hold the wheels in alignment. There are four types of springs are used in automotive suspension system. The air springs are mostly used in the air buses and also in many cars. The suspension system allows the vehicle to travel over the rough surfaces with minimum up and down vehicle movement.
