The class c modulator amplifier modulates the carrier input according to modulating audio signal. The output of the class c modulator amplifier is AM and it is given to antenna through some antenna matching network. The low level transistor is same as high level transistor but instead of class c amplifier class b amplifier is used. The linear class b amplifier performs the major power amplification and feeds the amplified AM signal to antenna. The modulator AM signals is amplified by class b power amplifier to avoid distortion in the input. The AM Broad cast transmitter using partially modulated drive setup is another type of the AM transmitter in which the partially modulated drive setup is used. This modulated drive setup is act as an AM transmitter to transmit the AM signal.
