I did a little investigation and came to the conclusion that the dirt that is typically present in the house, consists of dead skin of the inhabitants, hair and other debris such as ash. I'm sure it is unnerving to find out that we shed millions of dead skin cells everyday which accounts for the major portion of the dirt. In specific seasons, the amount of dust might contain a large quantity of pollen. Pollen refers to the minute particles released by flowers in order to fertilize other plants in order to multiply. Biologically this pollen is analogous to the male gamete or the sperm, while the female gamete or the egg cell is presently in the flower as it is immobile.
