There are different festivals celebrated all over the world. Each festival has its own purpose to fulfill. Each festivals is celebrated by a certain group of people following a particular religion or belonging to a particular race. They follow certain rules and principles to celebrate their festivals. The festival is celebrated once in a year on that day people express their gratitude and happiness for celebrating their festival. They have fun by wearing the traditional dress that corresponds to that festival and playing music and singing songs that were created for that particular event several decades or several centuries ago.During this day all categories of people of the same race or religion come together and share their brotherhood feeling towards each other. They prepare the traditional food that represents that festival and share sweets with others. The Government proposes holidays during festivals so that the people might feel happy getting relieved from work stress and celebrate their festival without any trouble. During these festivals the people come together forgetting all their past feuds with others and celebrate the festivals happily. The religious festivals are concerned with praising their God and his goodness by telling about the good things he/she has done for the people. They give offerings to that God and sometimes huge idols or statues of God are made and kept for public view. Colorful parades are done in public roads so that all people will gather and see those beautiful ways the express their gratitude to their God.
