Launched more than 2 years ago, this console from Microsoft has gained quite a large share in the console market thanks to its performance and high profile games. This console from Microsoft has been in the research lab for over 2 years and the new architecture seems to be really good. There are loads of places from where you can get the actual specifications; the console was launched early thanks to the PS2 threat from Sony. But this hurried launch has affected the console. The security system in the console is a bit weak and this has allowed people to play pirated games and this is turning out to be quite a major loss for the game developers. The console looks cool and a bit like alien technology. The console also supports HD movies and games which means that you can now play all the games on full definition. In addition to this Microsoft has also released Halo 3 only for the XBOX making it a must play title. There are loads of other games dedicated to the XBOX which makes it a truly great buy option.
