Tattoos are looked upon as a tramp stamp these days. Yeah, a tramp stamp is something that usually puts you out of a normal society. A girly tattoo for a guy also denotes that the guy is usually gay or something like that.

But tattoos have a great history; tattoos have been in use for many centuries. Old cave men used to pierce their skin and make a mark to show their loyalty to one race or tribe.
This practice has continued over the years and tattoos have been used for everything. Feudal lords used to have symbols that they would use to on the armor and clothing of all their soldiers, almost all these soldiers would get a tattoo of that on their arm. Witches used to be branded with tattoos during the Spanish inquisition to keep them out of any society.

In our age tattoos are seen upon as a prison mark or a person who belongs to a violent group.
