I recently got to attend a LAN party at a friends place and boy was it good. It was a BYOC type of LAN party or bring your own computers kind of party. These are fast becoming a thing of the past with people going to gaming cafes. But my experience at this LAN party was simply amazing. My friend decided to host an over night party of sorts with people bringing their own computers. We all assembled there at the specified time to find that we would be able to play properly. There weren’t enough sockets to plug in all the components. Thankfully this problem was solved by using extension cords that had multiple sockets.
The next biggest problem was configuring all the computers to form a LAN. Thankfully we were all computer graduates and we knew how to do it. The party started with COD 4 or call of duty 4 and this lead to unreal tournament 3. We played a few old games too. The food was mainly the side dishes that come with alcohol and most of us had enough to make it a full dinner meal.
All in all the party was a success and we really enjoyed it a lot.
