We have always had a fear that space will become as crowded as the earth thanks to the space technology that various countries posses. There have speculations about 2 satellites colliding due the density of a specific belt. This has finally happened, and it has happened to the 2 most advanced countries in the world. A US satellite and a Russian satellite have collided and both have been destroyed completely. This has caused a new problem for all the other satellites in space. The debris from the 2 destroyed satellites is now orbiting the earth at a high speed. Any satellite that gets hit by these can be damaged or may get destroyed completely. There are no practical solutions for such a situation, the best that anyone can do is move any satellite that is in that region to a region which is a bit away from the debris. This has occurred due to human error and both the satellites were unaware of the presence of the other. There have been a group of people who claim that these are a new generation of satellites that are capable of firing missiles from space. They believe that this is a new form of star wars.
