The new Sony Erricson W350i is the latest offering from the walkman series of the Sony family. This phone has the potential to be one of the best phones out there had it not been for some very basic features that it lacks. But the phone stands out as a walkman phone and offers unmatched quality which Nokia has never been able to provide with their low end models. The phone features a walkman interface, a 1.3 MP camera without flash and the usual set of Bluetooth and infra red.

The best parts first, the cell has a flip flap which can be used to cover the keypad, once its covered the top of the panel has the controls for the walkman and they look really classy, a side button on the panel lets you access the Walkman without opening the flap. The sound is really great for a phone of that price. And the battery life is trademark Sony and offers around 12-14 hours of playback time.


Now for the bad part, the camera is a low resolution one and unprotected plus it has no flash. The worst part is that it does not support video recording, it supports only video playback. But all said and done, this phone is the best for someone who’s looking for a great mp3 player but doesn’t have the cash to go for one of those expensive ones.
