We have come to an age where people feel like they are working all the time. Such people don’t have time to sleep, and those who do have time find it tough to fall asleep because they are so stressed out. This in turn can harm your health in such a way that your immune system stops working properly and you get sick very often. Maybe you’ve already noticed that you get a cold very easily. Lack of sleep can also harm the tissue repair process where we make new muscles and tissues from proteins. This is why it’s important to get a recommended 8 hours of sleep everyday.
There are many ways which you can use to fall asleep. The first and best method that really works for me is a good head massage from someone. A head massage helps to circulate blood in the brain and can help relax you. A good oil massage also helps your hair. A glass of hot milk usually helps though I don’t know what the theory behind this is. Another good method is to go for a walk some 2 hours before you sleep. And most important thing is that you keep the room as dark as possible while sleeping. Lights can usually affect your sleep cycle.
