OUCH! Is the first thing that most people say when they get hurt. But what does one say when a dog attacks you or bites you. You wont be able to react, its worse when the dog is yours and it still attacks you. I recently found out that a dog bite can be very painful, but my dog didn’t exactly bite me. It got angry because of what I was doing and snapped at me. I was able to drag my hand away just in time, but the tooth scrapped the index finger and tore the skin. I really dint know how to react to such a thing, I mean what can you do when your own well trained and loyal dog attacks you? You can neither scream in pain nor hit the dog. You’re at a loss for words and emotions.
What came next really shook me, I saw that though the skin was torn only a bit it was causing a lot of bleeding and being a guy who hates the sight of blood or wound I started feeling dizzy. My initial reaction was to go to the hospital to get stitches, but once I gained control I realized that it was a small hurt and dint need stitches. A simple wash with a antiseptic and a layer of Vaseline helped it a lot, and I learned one thing from this episode. Never trust a dog, ever!!
