In wake of the recent Mumbai attacks that claimed the life of about 300 Indians the Pakistan government has come under a lot of pressure due to the evidence that points all hands and fingers towards the government. Recent findings showed that militant camps were being sponsored partly by the government and were given information to carry out dastardly acts such as those that occurred on 26/11 in India. The Indian government has done its job of investigating the entire attack and drawing a loose conclusion. It showed from the beginning that the terrorist were from Pakistan. The lone terrorist who was captured gave information against the government and said that the government’s ISI or the intelligence wing was helping such militants to infiltrate into Indian soil. The collected evidence was sent to the Pakistan high commission by the Indian government asking the government to deal this issue with a firm hand. Unfortunately the Pakistani government has taken no concrete action against this and has thrown caution to the wind. This situation seems to be escalating and may lead to a war between the 2 countries.
