Finally apple has some good news for all those iphone fans. The company has finally got the patent for the touch screen that comes with the iphone. The iphone has become popular only due to the amazing touch screen and this feature has been exploited by many companies making cell phones. The touch screen that comes with the apple phone is special in many ways such as the dual finger touch sensitive, drag and drop and loads of other features that were unique to the iphone. Unfortunately there have been other models that have copied this and made a good profit out of it.

The recent patent that was awarded to apple lets it to charge royalties on this product and control the use of it in the market. apple has been one of the few electronic companies that has posted real high quarterly profits despite the economic slowdown. The patent will also help it to increase profits and apply its brand name on any such product that may enter the market.

Steve jobs has taken the patent in his name and has vowed to protect apple’s intellectual property from anyone and everyone who plans to steal it and use it.
