It what seems to be one of the biggest ever attacks on a site, hackers recently got access to the monsters job online inc site which has the resume and various important details of more than 10 million people. With this information they can set up specific phising sites and get critical data from users. The representative of the site said that though some regions like the Asia pacific were still safe, other regions were badly hit and the extent of the damage is still not know.


Though the company did not state the amount of data that was stolen they said that they were working with law enforcement agencies to catch the criminals. They also said that they informed all card banks to keep a close watch on certain accounts fearing a wide spread illegal usage of stolen card numbers. This is the 2nd attack that the site has faced in as many as 18 months. This gives everyone an impression that the site does not handle such critical data with care. What remains to be seen is the total amount of damage that has been caused.
