Teaching a dog to listen to its master’s command is known as obedience training. It’s a tough thing to teach them this, but with the know how and love for dogs it becomes a simple procedure. A dog can do many things; things that most animals can’t do and stuff that can help you. A dog becomes an invaluable companion if thought how to obey orders and do your biddings. The recent dog show that attended had events where handlers showed the amount of training that they had imparted to their dogs. It’s quite a interesting thing to watch a dog listen to what its handler says. There also exists a very special bond between the 2 which makes this possible. The dogs that participated in the show were from various breeds such as Dobermans, Boxers and a few other breeds. These are classified as guard dogs and can do almost anything. The first thing that they were thought was to listen to every command said by the handler. They sat when told to and lied on the ground when told to. One impressive thing that the handlers teach them is to retrieve things based on smell. They are allowed to smell a person and then told to bring a handkerchief which the person uses. This is really amazing to watch and shows you the ability of the dog’s nose. Obedience training is a special thing and you need to get a professional to handle it.
