George w bush gave his last press conference from the white house. The last one from his position as the president of the United States. He will be leaving the white house with one of the lowest popularity ratings that any president has ever got. This is due to this decision to invade Iraq and Afghanistan. He thanked all his staff for the wonderful service that they provided him while he was in office. He also accepted that invading Afghanistan and Iraq may have been a mistake. Though a late apology some people feel that its better to feel sorry at least while you still have the chance. He also congratulated Obama on his success and wished him the best of luck to tackle the current problems that the world is facing. He also said that the year 2009 would be one of the greatest with new things coming up all the time. he also commented about the shoe throwing incident and that he wasn’t too worried about it. When asked about his future plans he said he would relax in his Texas house and would write his memoirs and have them published. We wish him the best of luck and hope that all the decisions that he took when in the white house would help us all one day.
