Lasers can be fun to play with, not the high powerful ones but the normal 2$ laser that can be used as a point device. Please do keep in mind that shining a laser of any intensity into a person’s eye will cause damage to the retina. A laser can be used even in an amazing experiment, but this experiment is not approved by PETA because it involves making a dog run using a laser. But it can be fun and you wont be harming the animal.

Dogs like to chase stuff as we all know, but did you know that they can see these laser beams because it’s a concentrated light beam? The moment they see the dot of the laser on the floor they tend to chase it and try to catch it. Watching them do this is good fun because they look really cute and confused when they aren’t able to catch it. To add to the fun you can shine it in between a group of dogs and see what happens. Be careful though; please do not shine the laser into the dog’s eye. Although I have tested it out on dogs, I don’t know what a cat will do when faced with the same kind of problem.

There are limits as to how long you can do this experiment. Please don’t torture your dog by doing it continuously for hours together.
