This Saturday morning was supposed to be peaceful and calm for me, a day to rest and relax after a hard week of doing nothing productive. But it wasn’t going to be so, a call at 10 am in the morning made sure that I was rudely woken up and told to attend some dog show that was being held at the university grounds around 6 miles from my place. As a dog lover I couldn’t and dint not want to say no, and finally agreed to waste my Saturday afternoon at the show. I’ve been to many shows and the only thing I realized was that each dog show is special in a different way. It’s more of a chance to meet new dogs and play and have fun with them. This was not going to be any different, but it was different. The moment we entered the place we saw a dozen people running behind a happy looking German Shepard that had managed to escape the shackles that was holding it back and was trying to escape or play with the people who were chasing it. This start was amazing and really set the mood for those who were visiting. What caught my eye were the pugs that sat with their grumpy faces in a separate tent that was erected for them, a chance to play with the much hyped dog. It was kind of cute to look at and was good fun to play with. A bit hyperactive at times this dog can be expensive to maintain. To sum it up I really did have a good time at the place and would like to visit more dog shows of this sort.
