Ever wanted to have a million bucks? Now you can but the problem is that it wont be a US dollar and will probably worth less than a US dollar. The currency that I’m talking about is the Zimbabwe currency. A country that is facing an economic crisis so great is currently unable to contain the million percentage inflation that has caused wide spread panic and disaster to most of the industries in the area. A kilo of rice costs around 1 million Zimbabwe dollar. The easy solution that they adopted to contain the crisis was to print more notes and increase the total amount of currency that was in circulation, though it provided relief in the first week it added fuel to the situation and made it worse. Instead of containing this situation the government has planned to print a Zimbabwe 100 trillion dollar note. Who would have ever thought that a country would have such a large currency. The problem is that these 1000 trillion dollars is worth only about 33 US dollars. There is nothing much the government can do thanks to the global crisis that has affected all countries. Now the question to be asked is how to stop this inflation rate and start decreasing it? The first way would be to stop printing such large currency notes and to take things public and have it government controlled.
