The title of the post may seem misleading; it can mean a lot of things. But this post is will talk about how walking can improve your health which in turn leads to a better future. Walking is the oldest form of transportation, self transportation. People have always been walking regardless of all the advancements that man has made with regard to transportation. But nowadays walking has become a part of the fitness regime rather than a mode of transportation (it still is, but we just don’t consider it that ways).
Our lifestyles have changed so much that we have to add walking as a form of exercise. In earlier days people never used to think of walking as a form of exercise, it was ALWAYS a mode of transportation. But thanks to junk food and cheap and fast transportation modes we have reduced the amount we walk and become fat. People have started using fancy devices such as treadmills to walk. All this is not needed; there are simple ways to reduce weight.
Walking should be seen as a mode of transportation, we should prefer to walk short distances instead of using the car. Trips to places that are close by should be done on foot. Taking a chilly evening walk with a loved one can be extremely romantic. Do try these out and let me know how it turns out.
