The best from Sony is yet to come. They have been working on a brand new type of cell phone that promises to be cheap yet feature loaded and extremely stylish. The Sony W705 is the latest from Sony and is yet to be launched. Slated for a January 2009 release this mobile has almost everything to dethrone the apple iPhone. Te mobile has an amazing 3.2 MP camera which puts most digital cameras to shame with its picture quality. The camera is also protected by a film that promises that the camera lens will never get affected under any circumstances, or at least that’s what they claim. The screen is a massive 2.4” screen that is really brilliant and offers unmatched contrast. The screen alone is enough to seduce anyone into buying the phone. The slide down keypads though a bit flimsy are quite nice to use and feel a bit sturdy even though they look flimsy. The phone belongs to the Walkman range of phones which means that the sound clarity is absolutely stunning and is a pleasure to listen to using the bundled headphones which also acts as a noise reducer. The rest of the features are available in other phone namely the accelerometer which can be used to calculate your walking speed and is more of a health related device. The phone supports quad band. The best part of the phone is that it has a built in Wi-Fi that lets you surf the web as long as a Wi-Fi connection is available. The built in browser is mediocre and can handle normal browser functions but for more features one should install a custom browser. The phone also lets you change the music tracks by just shaking the phone in one particular direction and also has a mood sensor which plays tracks based on your mood, now how great is that? This phone has not yet been released, but reports suggest that this phone could be priced at a very low rate to eliminate competition.
