The world of movies has been dominated for the past couple of decades by Hollywood. Hollywood is the American industry of movies and they make movies in all languages in almost all countries. They have been so popular that their growth has prevented any other kind of industry to exist anywhere else, except in India. A country of over 1 billion people located near the Arabian sea has been living on the ideas propagated by movies. In India the movie industry is not just entertainment. Its religion Bollywood is the India version of Hollywood and has prospered without the help of any outsiders. The reason why the Indian cinema industry has grown so fast is because people consider actors as their gods and literally worship them on special occasions. Also a movie can be made on a low budget with high profits. This has allowed the Indian cinema industry to survive without the help of other countries. But the realism in Indian movies is almost nil. They depict lives of ordinary people in an unbelievable manner. And then come those movies were the impossible is possible. Indian cinema is the only place where directors show that the impossible can be achieved with the help of super stars. The movies may sound like a load of crap, but has fuelled the growth of the industry greatly.
