The biggest attraction for kids these days is ice cream, its tough to find a kid who doesn’t like ice cream. Ice cream has a very fascinating history behind it. The first ice cream wasn’t like the ones that we have today; it was basically frozen water or ice with a specific flavor. The flavor tasted a lot better because it was chilled. This was first made in 1880 in Italy where it became quite popular amongst the poor people. As time passed the process was refined and people started making fancier ice flavors. Finally in the year 1902 or so they tried adding fruits to milk and freezing it. The mixture that was got had an amazing taste that people described as a spoonful of heaven. After that ice creams became extremely popular and the process was refined to make smoother ice creams and new flavors. But there have been controversies over who invented the first ice cream. According to Indian and Persian history the sultans used ice with sherbet which was a flavored drink to make the sherbet taste better and more refreshing. But no one really cares about it anymore. The history doesn’t matter, what matters is who makes the best ice cream now. There are many companies all across the world that make amazing ice creams but safeguard the secret over fear that a rival company may get it and use it to improve their range.
