It was that time of the month, where I had to devout the entire day
for cleaning the house. Yes, I try cleaning my place only once a month
but most often, end up doing it once every two or even three months.
Therefore it is inevitable that I collect a lorry load of dirt which
needs to be disposed off in the best possible way. Sometimes, it
shocks me to see the amount of dirt collected in the every nook and
cranny of the house. In addition to the deposits of the dirt, this
debris attracts insects such as spiders and other creatures that begin
residing in such places. This develops into an entire microcosm.
I did a little investigation and came to the conclusion that the dirt
that is typically present in the house, consists of dead skin of the
inhabitants, hair and other debris such as ash. I'm sure it is
unnerving to find out that we shed millions of dead skin cells
everyday which accounts for the major portion of the dirt. In specific
seasons, the amount of dust might contain a large quantity of pollen.
Pollen refers to the minute particles released by flowers in order to
fertilize other plants in order to multiply. Biologically this pollen
is analogous to the male gamete or the sperm, while the female gamete
or the egg cell is presently in the flower as it is immobile.
